I think the Koreans should take a look at what their Thai neighbors are doing brandwise. Where the Korean branding effort is designed to increase awareness and maybe even change our image of a country, Thailand is seeking to become a customer-centric Cult Brand, Jimmy Buffett style. Sign me up for the Thailand trip and if Samsung has the best phone, maybe I’ll take one of those too, but only until something better comes along.
